Fusing films are used to "Therm-O-Fuse"
(post-fuse) toner image areas. Therm-O-Fusing creates a spot varnish
effect on fused toner image areas and improves toner durability.

| Film is available with or without release agent coating. Customers who need to Therm-O-Fuse and Foil-Fuse in one pass should use film with a release agent applied to assure that toner is not pulled from the sheet by the film during the higher temperature foil fusing process. | ||
| Customers who Therm-O-Fuse in a separate pass can use a lower fusing temperature and do not require a release coating on the film. | ||

|
Therm-O-Fusing with un-coated fusing film is typically run at 220 degrees F. Therm-O-Fusing at higher temperatures with un-coated film may pull toner off the sheet as the toner may bond to the film. |
