The ThermoTech12 and 15 automatic
thermography models were introduced in 2003. Over the past two years,
these models have been well received in the international thermography
industry.
In early 2005, THERM-O-TYPE replaced the existing MX-20 model with a 20"
wide ThermoTech model.
The ThermoTech20 features an 80" long heat tunnel. The operator can
select to run using a 15" wide center heater zone or the full 21 1/2"
emitting heater width. The three ceramic fiber heater elements generate
up to 27,000 watts of heat. A thermocouple and digital heat control
provide consistent set point temperature accuracy.
The ThermoTech12, 15 and 20 models feature a common series of important
features and design enhancements. All three ThermoTech models feature
rugged construction, energy efficiency, low maintenance durability,
enhanced safety and high productivity.
Unique ThermoTech features reduce operator workload, while providing
precise output quality controls. Operator-side single point pickup head
gap adjustment, dual tracking digital heat control, clutch controlled
infeed, delivery paper eject system and minimal maintenance requirements
allow the operator to focus on output quality and productivity.
ThermoTech models also feature the most advanced safety system available
on any existing thermography machines. This system includes dual
emergency stop switches, a dedicated 24 volt safety circuit with "fail
to safe" relay and safety circuit reset button.
Compared against competitive machines, ThermoTech models provide higher
heater wattage, longer heater dwell, longer cooler dwell, heavier
conveyor rollers and bearings, superior pickup head gap adjusting
mechanism, exterior pick-up head bearing seals, patented “Drive Guard”
feature to reduce wear on the drive train and mesh belts, infeed and
delivery end controls for the infeed conveyor drive and a paper eject
system to improve delivery while running difficult to handle stocks.
ThermoTech models are also covered by the longest and most comprehensive
warranty in the industry. This warranty covers electrical and mechanical
parts for a full three years, regardless of the number of operational
hours. The only exceptions are parts that are broken due to negligence
or operator error and normal wear on chain mesh belting.
