The Holographic Foil Registration option has four selectable programs which offer a wide range of foil control options.

 Simple variable length foil advance program:

• Each time after an impression is made, the foil is advanced to the present draw length.

• Up to nine different length foil draw lengths can be programmed to follow a repeating sequence. This program is very useful in reducing foil waste when running a multiple up die.

Basic holographic foil registration program which offers very simple set up and adjustment:  

• This program requires that the spacing between holographic images be evenly spaced for maximum accuracy. There is no provision in this program to compensate for unevenly spaced holographic images.

Advance holographic foil registration program which can compensate for variations in holographic image spacing:

• This program will automatically compensate for imperfections in image spacing. Another feature which will not allow marks on the foil which are located between the registration marks to effect registration. This is a very sophisticated program and offers outstanding accuracy, control and protection from false signaling.

All the foil management programs use a resolution of 360 steps per inch and all offer variable acceleration control.

The electro-optical sensor within the Holographic Foil Registration System has adjustable sensitivity with an easy to use set up display. A shielded, fiber optic cable detects the hologram registration mark and transmits the signal through the electro-optical sensor to the stepper motor control.
